How do I prepare for a cleaning?
During booking, let us know your needs and wants. Give specific details. Let us know additional information on pets, keys, alarms and specifics about your household.
Cleaning Supplies
We use environmentally friendly cleaning supplies when possible, just provide a broom, mop, paper towels or Swiffer. At this time you must provide a vacuum for vacuuming service. If you would like us to use any specific products or equipment let us know.
Lock Out
If we are unable to access the home during a scheduled cleaning, there is lock-out fee of 50% of the service charge. Most clients provide a key or hide one on the premises on their cleaning day.
Do I have to be home when you clean?
For the first cleaning, we recommend that you meet us, show us around and give specific instructions for each area of your home. If for any reason you cannot be there, please leave instructions inside the residence.
Cancellations/Rescheduling
If you need to reschedule a cleaning without proper notice, we will not be able to fill the schedule in time. Without consistency, we will be unable to provide the best service for our clients. Cancellations made within 24 hours are non-refundable. Cancellations and rescheduling will incur a 50% and 25% fee respectively. Please read the cancellation policy. We want to help you avoid these fees!
Security/Alarm
If you have a security or alarm system, please make the necessary arraignments to ensure that we have access for your scheduled cleaning.
Pets
We love pets! However, we want to provide the best service possible. Please let us know if there are pets in the home. It is not required, but we prefer that pets be kept in a restricted area while we clean.
Extending Time
Cleaning is not a one-size-fits all. Sometimes we may need more time to complete a cleaning. It is important that you are specific in what you need and what we can expect during booking. You can also call us in advanced so we have the most accurate booking possible. We can continue during your next scheduled cleaning or extend the cleaning for a per hour fee.
Time
We guarantee a specific day for your house cleaning but not a specific time. Due to our flexible and ever-changing schedule, we are unable to commit to a specific time of day for our maids to arrive. We will be glad to estimate the time we will arrive. If you need a specific time guarantee, feel free to to contact us directly by phone. We will do our best to reach a mutually agreeable solution.
Valuables
If you have any special valuables or items, please put them away or instruct us not to touch them. The safety of every item in your home is important to us. We do our best to perform cleaning tasks in a way that doesn’t harm anything in your home. In the unfortunate event that something gets damaged while cleaning, we’ll try to get it repaired or replaced as quickly as possible.
Cancelling recurring services
If you would like to cancel recurring services, please do so seven days in advanced or you will be assessed a cancellation fee. This includes if you are switching to a less frequent service as well. Let us know in advanced if you'd like to change from monthly to bi weekly, or bi weekly to weekly.
